1. Service
This website has been created and is operated by "Shivas.com". (Trade name AMEX SA.). All information provided on this website is accurate, though we cannot guarantee that all information is comprehensive and error-free, nor can we be held responsible for interruptions or non-delivery of information. The prices on our site are highly competitive. All prices on the "Shivas.com" website are per room for your entire stay, depending on occupancy of the room, unless stated differently.                                                                                                         

2. Privacy
"Shivas.com" uses high ethical standards and respects your privacy. We will not give your personal information to third parties under any circumstances. Please have a look at our privacy policy for further information.

3. Credit card guarantee
Hotel requires credit card details in order to guarantee your reservation. You can send credit card information (card type, name, number, expiry date), directly to the  Hotel by fax (+302892042750)  or e-mail (reservations@shivas.com), so we can charge 20% deposit of the total value of your stay, for the reservation to be valid. We will charge your credit card,  for the balance, at the end of your stay at the hotel. If you decide to book online,we take serious responsibility regarding your credit card information. We use  "Secure Socket Layer (SSL)" technology to encrypt your credit card details. So, we can guarantee that every transaction made, is 100% safe and we will reimburse the first  100 EUR, in the remote case your credit card is misused or abused due to Shivas.com. The credit card company is obliged to pay the remainder.
 
4. Cancellation
Please follow the instructions in the confirmation email in case you need to cancel your stay. If you cancel according to the cancellation policy of the Hotel, it will be free of charge. We recommend you read the cancellation policy of the Hotel carefully. If you cancel later than requested by the hotel or do not show up, the Hotel will charge you the deposit 20% of the total value of your stay.

At "Shivas.com", we regard your privacy very seriously. The information we request when making your reservation is requested in order to offer you a professional service.    We will never disclose your personal information to certain permitted third parties, except members of our own company staff, and trusted partners located  in the European Economic Area, and our own trusted professional advisers. In accordance with European personal data protection laws, strict security procedures are observed at Shivas.com to prevent personal data misuse and unauthorized access.

Credit Card information

We will charge your credit card only if we have written permission, either by email or fax. Your credit card info is necessary in order to proceed with your reservation.                                                                                

Your credit card information is sent through a secure server. We use the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details. The encryption method used is the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology. Our SSL certificate has been issued by “Thawte”.                                                                                         

Our server and network are protected by firewalls against unauthorized access. This means we can guarantee that it is totally safe to send us your credit card details. We will reimburse the first EURO 100 should your credit card be misused or abused. The credit card company is obliged to pay the remainder.  Your credit card details will be kept at Shivas.com until your departure date at the Hotel. After this date, the details will be destroyed.

When does Shivas.com send you emails?   

After you have made a booking, you will receive a confirmation message with all the information about your booking. You may take this confirmation, to the Hotel as guarantee of the reservation.
